Product Detail
The short rail earth (DEP) attaches a 1.5m orange aluflex earth lead from the earth cantilever to a steel mast spigot at a designated earth point. The kit can consist of CE62 earth leads and isolation earth leads.
Accepted for use on all Network Rail (UK) controlled 25kV Electrified lines when used in accordance with NR/L3/ELP/29987 and NR/OLE B15.
The CE62 incorporates a stainless steel jaw, which is spring-loaded to reduce application and removal time associated with clamps of the screw type. The CE62 is associated with clamps of the screw type. The CE62 is suitable for conductor range between 4mm to 20mm.
Flexible aluminium earth leads with fully tested and fault-rated compression terminations and support sleeves are used for interconnecting conductor clamps to various earth points. The standard nominal cross section is of 50sq.mm.
Operating poles sets are also available for application of the earthing leads or clamps.
